New Shipments Report

1. Filter Panels (Top Section):

• C. REP, Shipper Name, Cnee Name, MBL, CNT#, M. Vessel, DONE, INVOICED:

  • Use these filters to narrow down data based on the specific criteria, including customer representatives, shipper and consignee names, master bill of lading (MBL), container numbers (CNT#), vessel names, invoicing status, etc.

  • This allows users to customize the view based on what they need to investigate, such as shipments related to a specific consignee or those that have been invoiced.

• BGL FILE NO, POL, POD, SS LINE, DELIVERY, TRUCKER, ETD:

  • Additional filters for refining the data related to specific file numbers, ports of loading (POL) and discharge (POD), shipping lines, delivery information, truckers, and estimated time of departure (ETD).

  • These are critical for getting detailed information based on shipment processes.

2. Main Data Tables (Middle Section):

• Consignee Name (NJ-Import), Consignee Name (Export), Consignee Name (NY-Import):

  • These tables show a detailed breakdown of consignees in various categories (NJ-Import, NY-Import, Export) along with the TEU (Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit) for each.

  • TEU values provide insight into the volume of containers being handled for each consignee.

• Operations Rep., Fin Doc Rep., Ops Doc Rep., Pricing Rep.:

  • These tables provide a breakdown of each representative’s number of containers/shipments they are handling, separated into different categories:

    • CNT# (Operations Rep.): Displays the total number of containers handled by each operations representative.

    • FILE# (Fin Doc Rep., Ops Doc Rep.): Shows the number of files being managed by each financial and operations documentation representative.

    • CNT# (Pricing Rep.): Displays the number of containers under the pricing representative.

• Totals: Each section provides a total count for easy reference, giving users a snapshot of overall workload per category.

3. How to Use Filters Effectively:

• The top filters let users focus on specific details. For example, selecting a specific consignee will update all related tables, giving detailed data relevant to that consignee across imports, exports, and shipments.

• Use multiple filters in combination (e.g., POD and TRUCKER) to zoom into detailed shipment processes and narrow down to the most relevant data.

4. Quick Analysis of TEU:

• The TEU column provides a quick reference to container volume for each consignee, helping users easily assess the number of containers associated with different clients.

• This data is useful for identifying top clients and determining where the majority of container volume lies.
